Do Nothing Meditation Intention Problem

I have been doing the do-nothing meditation for a few weeks and I am starting to feel guilty. In Leo's video he tells us that we can only do this technique wrong if we are trying to do something.

My problem is that I don't know if it is a thought of an intention or an intention. I am getting intentions but then when I want to drop the intention, a thought about the intention arises and I get confused if that is a thought or an intention.

Please advise me on this.
