Deep monkey mind

7 posts in this topic

One time I was so lost in monkey mind while meditating (trying to meditate is more accurate) that I didn't even hear my timer go off for a few minutes. Volume was on full blast and there was no noise around me. I remember it felt like walking out of a thick fog when I actually realized that the timer was ringing.

Feel free to make fun of me

I would try to unplug for an hour a day out in nature away from technology & the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Get to know the local wild birds and squirls...or whatever!

Nature is free medicine/meditation

“Everything is honoured, but nothing matters.” — Eckhart Tolle.

"I have lived on the lip of insanity, wanting to know reasons, knocking on a door. It opens. I've been knocking from the inside." -- Rumi

i find the worst meditations are the best meditations

when i feel like absolute crap afterwards i know i am doing my bit

meditation is about one thing, clock in and clock out

sometimes i even get up before the timer goes off

it gets the better of me but i will be back to square up next time

it is nothing to do with me and what happens is none of my business

i place myself in the divine's care and slowly i am getting re-wired

sometimes I don't even do it for a week or two, so when I come back it's even better

mind hates meditation and will do anything to thwart it

why you wasting time when there is no much fun to be had

plan accordingly

only grace permits you to meditate, you yield or if it is not your time you don't
