I guess what I'm trying to say is that the definition of alpha differs depending on your stage of development. A stage orange person would see a materialism and selfishness as alpha traits.

Yea. I'm not stage Orange. I'm generally supportive of stage green. An alpha at stage green is difficult to imagine. Most stage green guys are submissive and beta so I can't give a better example than stage Blue.

Yeah I've noticed that I lost a lot of my masculinity after transitioning to stage green. However in return the masculinity that was left behind is far more genuine and conscious.
