Integrity, Aligning Intention and Action.

4 posts in this topic

John was a young man who saw himself as honest, hard-working, and well-intentioned. His entire life he sought to keep his word to others to the best of his ability and often made promises with others he did not want too but kept his word to all those that he did. He prided himself on how congruent he was in both word, thought and deed. He enjoyed an impeccable reputation among those who knew him as an honest man and to the outside world he was. But John had one issue, which was related to him taking on promises from other people at times that he did not wish to make. John tended to put others before him often to his detriment. He believed that Sacrifice was noble and did it often, and would get frustrated when he saw the lack of this trait in others. He always believed that he held himself accountable, often looking for any aspects of himself he thought were unaligned and put effort to bring them into alignment but one aspect of himself eluded him for years.

You see John did not realize that he did not keep his word to himself. Often he would make plans to do certain things, and then do something else coming up with an excuse why he wouldn't do it. He would do something else out of fear because he did not think he was capable of accomplishing it, which means he felt unworthy. This unworthiness is also why he didn't honor the promises he made to himself because he didn't think he was worthy of having that promise fulfilled, as a result others in his life would take advantage of him and break their promises to him just like he did to himself. Whenever he was angry at "others" for not honoring their deals with him, he was really lashing out at the feelings he held toward himself internally and projecting it out onto "others."

John needed to realize he was worthy of respect, that he needed to honor his word to himself, and not allow others to take advantage of him. He must hold himself to the same standards internally that he would like to see externally. Your world just reflects back what is hidden deep inside, whenever something bothers you its an alarm to look inward. Our world is constantly our teacher guiding us to the deep recesses of our shadow beckoning us to bring it into the light. Reality is constantly enlightening you, bringing to light the darkness you house inside which allows you to ever shine more bright.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

Are John and Sam the same person?

Love this brother, was connecting with a friend today, he pointed me towards the inner aspects of authenticity, doing it for the sake of authenticity, letting that radiate into the world. Instead of doing it FOR something. very similar to keeping integrity, John, in this story, doesn't have inner integrity, with himself, the projection was natural coming from that state.

This right here... beautifully said. So simple, so difficult :D

Yeah that was a typo thanks for that I was thinking of a generic name to use that most people have and was debating between John and Sam lol I'll correct it

Exactly its one thing to realize something, its another to actually implement it. Its funny how things are set in place in life to make changing your pattern difficult. To change yourself is to kill the previous identity you had and that is the most difficult thing you can do. Nothing in life is more difficult than that. Because it impacts not just yourself, but those around you as well.
