How to embed YouTube videos in forum posts

I tried adding a forum post to the Stage Blue Examples Mega-thread, but I had problems embedding the video. Does anyone know, or can anyone explain how to imbed or insert a YouTube video in a forum post, please?

Should just do it automatically? Although sometimes you get an error message and it doesn't embed, in which case delete the link, refresh the page, and try again.

Yea same here. It happens more often with a time stamped YT link.
