Taking care of yourself = love

9 posts in this topic

I watched the first hour of Leo’s new video and he said taking care of yourself is love but isn’t the opposite (not taking care of yourself) not love too? Everything within consciousness is love so not taking care of yourself should be love too so I didn’t get the appeal. Why should we choose the one over the other? Albeit there is higher and lower consciousness but everything is equal in the grand picture.

True. But When you fully realize that everything IS love, you can still chose what you want to do in life. And what would the highest Love chose to do? It would take care, most of the times:)

Perhaps because I don’t want to? Perhaps because of karma.

If you don't want to take care of yourself that's perfectly fine:) but if you would know yourself as what you essentially are, which is Love, you propably would<3

Why the hell would I do that if I know I have infinite bodies? ?

Because every one of this bodies is beautiful and deserves being treated in the best way possible.

He was probably speaking relative to human consciousness.

Relative to human consciousness, taking care of yourself is love and not taking care of yourself is not love.

Relative to a high state of consciousness, not taking care of yourself can be seen to be love too.

Everything might be equal relative to a certain state of consciousness. But relative to other states of consciousness, everything is certainly not equal.

And if you take the wisdom from that high state, then you could say that every state is equally important and true. Which means that "everything is not equal" is not a lesser truth.

That is one way of interpreting it. Another interpretation is that: "I have infinite bodies, I can do whatever I want".

God wants to experience every kind of experience, that is why there are people who don't take care of their bodies: it wants to be experienced.

Taking care of yourself as a human is definitely egoistic (relative domain instead of absolute domain). Eating healthy has a cost for the planet. If you truly altruistic you would sacrifice your own health for the health of the planet (i.e eating very little, minimizing carbon footprint as much as possible at your own expense).

Taking care of yourself is love relative to you.

Taking care of yourself is in many cases not love relative to the environment.
