do you need to keep thinking

We are born in a state of Peace in Unity and Oneness without a thinking mind. Then due to conditioning we create a false self in Consciousness and begin thinking to apply the conditioning. We experience the conditioned thinking as what we call our inner voice.

Turns out we don't need to think. Creation doesn't come into being over time. Creation comes into being in the Present Moment. It's the conditioned thinking mind that imposes the illusion of time. As we let go of the thinking mind, we no longer experience a past or a future. We abide at Peace in the Present Moment. And you find in this state of being, without wants or cravings, that Life seems to Miraculously work out by it Self.

The journey to find Infinite Peace is about dissolving ego and the thinking mind to return to that state of Infinitely Peaceful Being which is No-Mind.

You let go of the 'I' thought by surrendering your attachment to the thinking mind and you come to realize that you are not the mind-body. Then it's easy to see that thinking really doesn't solve anything and only causes anxiety and so you just gradually give up thinking. You Ascend out of the mind-body to Realize your Self as the Consciousness in which the experience of being the mind-body arises into being

Look to dreams. In dreams you think you are the dream character, but when you Awaken you Realize that you are the Consciousness that was dreaming.

Imagine if you were the dream character in a difficult dream and you suddenly had the Realization that you weren't the dream character, but the Consciousness that was dreaming. Then instead of thinking you were the dream character caught up in the struggle, you would Realize that you were the Consciousness that was dreaming. Then the dream wouldn't be fearful, because you Realize that What-You-Are as Consciousness is beyond what happens to the dream character

Turns out we can have this Realization in Waking Life and that's what is happening. You are Transcending the mind-body to realize your Self as Consciousness.

Those remnants of conditioned thinking that are echoing around in your Consciousnesses can just be ignored. The more you just let the conditioned thinking fade away without getting lost in it, the quicker it will dissolve away - just like waking up from a dream and forgetting what the dream was about, the conditioned thinking will likewise fade away.

Soon you will be without thinking in an Infinitely Peaceful state of Being and by doing so you will Realize that Life without thinking transforms Consciousness to a State of Being that the Ancients called Sat-Cit-Ananda.

It's completely unexpected. Waking up to the Present Moment Oneness. It's a whole new Realization about how Creation comes into Being.
