What creates a Mind Fuck

I loved watching the videos from leo because I was biased towards mind fuck and loved that feeling of perspective suddenly shifting and me having an ah ha moment.

I am youtube and want to make a video that creates similar effects.

Could someone break it down from me as to how to create it?
