What is Wage Slavery? (And How To Escape it)

I'm excited to see the response on this one because I've wanted to get it out there for some time. The theme of the content I've been making for this month is Materialism. In the previous two videos I addressed the issue of right livelihood in relation to enlightenment. As Leo says, you don't want to be enlightened and working at seven eleven, or for some gun manufacturer. This is a difficult issue, how do we support ourselves in a conscious way, when we live in a society that is so unconscious? Perhaps you could leave a few examples of alternatives to wage slavery, for others to aspire to.
