Finally feeling a bit relaxed. Things have been okayish since yesterday.

I should allow more beauty into my life. And by that I don't mean physical beauty.

I'm talking about soul food.

What about productivity.

If I only focus on solving issues when will I focus on productivity.

It's important to come to a point of peace. .

I want to create a label for some of my concepts. I want to categorize them under a label. I decided to name my label Decrepit House.

Decrepit house

And I will be using this image to represent the label

Last time I was at Toscano and it was delicious Italian food and some mexican recipes.

Love the drinks and treats.

Certain mentalities that create certain problems.

  • Be honest. Dishonesty is never good. You might get short term gains with dishonesty but the long term damage is going to outweigh the short term gains.
  • Work on principle. If you said you are in love, you need to prov it. If you say you are giving a service to people, you cannot give bad quality service and cheat people, you cannot sell a damaged product to people and gain profit over it. Focus on the principle. You cannot scam someone and expect that person to trust you. The principle here is trust and you are breaking that principle. Stay true to the principle of the system
  • Stop victim blaming. If I forgot to lock the door and my home was burglarized, it's not really my fault because I can't be expected to be on alert at all times. The person who commits a crime is solely responsible for the crime. If I get raped, it's not my mistake or responsibility. It's the rapist who needs judgement and punishment and not me. Blaming a victim is an easy cop out and it reflects lack of accountability. This will eventually lead to more problems to fester in that society.
  • Complex problems need complex solutions and not kindergarten stop gap solutions.
  • Don't run away from life and become a monk. It's escapism. It's being too simplistic.. Life is hard, raw and real and complex and you have to live it the way your cards are dealt..
  • There's a difference between a minimalist and a simplistic person. Being a simplistic person means you don't understand and you can't resolve complex issues. It is also a huge sign of lack of responsibility and accountability. Because it's very easy to say that a person who has a problem is himself a problem. Simplistic behavior only makes matters worse and eventually those matters go out of control. It's like agriculture. You can't expect to grow something in a day. It's hard work.
  • Also victim blaming shows lack of empathy. Insensitivity.
  • You get what you give. If you give hate and indifference you will also receive hate and indifference. What you sow, you will reap. You can't expect good things to come out of a toxic environment.
  • Money is not God. Money is not the most important thing in life. What you place value on, becomes important in your life. Place value on happiness, growth, joy, love, peace. A culture riveted on money is never going to be truly successful, only fake display of success.
  • Victim blaming and shaming is stage red mentality in which it is okay to have perpetrators around, they are to be accepted as naturally present. As a natural rule a jungle rule. But in a civilized society, people want to raise the consciousness of the general populace. That's called creating civilization. A society that thinks that its to okay to have criminals and not do anything about it is a tribal stage Red society. Such a society cannot progress.

The greatest wisdom is to get rid of toxic people.

Traumatizing, toxic, hopeless, trash and destructive.

Judging by what you've said @Aquarius I think the best thing to do is mentally detox yourself from social media. Delete/close/lock all your accounts for everything you have (including this forum) except your cellphone for 14 days or a full month. Just set X amount of time and seriously commit to doing it.

Take this time to really contemplate what you want out of these things, and who exactly you want to connect with. Detach from threads, conversations, incidents that stir up any negative emotions for you. Think about them for a bit, what they were, what happened, then accept and forget them. When you come back vigorously delete, unsubscribe, and unfriend all the channels and people who have caused stress for you in any way (or are pointless/who you don't talk to). I mean sit down with a coffee or something for hours and go through each and every little one.

What you want in the end is a very clean and dedicated sources of information and contacts with those people and things that you get true value out of and that help serve your larger vision or purpose for your life. You'll be spending less time on it all but most importantly it will quality time.

I did this some years ago and do it over again every 6 months roughly and my happiness and content has improved tremendously. Your time and attention is precious, and your engagement with the world and people should reflect that.

I really hope you consider what I've said. Good luck  - Roy

I usually block people who I see as toxic to my health. Sorry but I need to value myself more every day and I don't have the time nor the energy to put up with the stress that a person's toxic behavior creates. So my option it to straight up block them.

I tried blocking some people on the forum as well. And sometimes when it's difficult to block then I try to talk to them directly in messenger to resolve any conflicts. If the person responds good, if not or if the person continues the same behavior, I go ahead and put them on ignore or block them.

That's the only safer way to deal with people you do not like.

If you're guilting yourself you are guilting yourself unnecessarily. Nowhere it's written that everyone has to get alone with each other. Sometimes people don't get along with each other and don't like the other person's words or company and there is nothing wrong with unable to get along with someone. It doesn't mean that you are hating them. It only means that they do not match you on your frequency, so don't guilt yourself. If that person cannot handle you blocking them, then they are immature and they will learn to respect people's boundaries over time. I mean by blocking them you are actually giving them the opportunity to reflect on their own behavior. And they need to seriously consider what's about them that's impacting or annoying others instead of protecting their own selfish ego all the time. The only way you can make them realize is by blocking them. Sounds harsh. But you learn certain things only when someone is harsh with you.

That's why Leo needs to police the forum. Some people grow up after that and come back better than before.

Just my two cents.

I’m gonna stick to a “dopamine detox” for a week starting from

[13/06/20]

Ending on

[20/06/20]

A Dopamine Detox is basically the avoidance of all base vices, as to deliberately make yourself bored to resensitize yourself to experience, and reset the chemical soup in your mind so that you’re motivated again to do actual productive things.

To get yourself out of your rut and to become productive you need boredom or "dopaminergic ammo" to give yourself the neuro chemical desire to actually step outside of your comfort zone. Our culture is a "novelty culture", which is a built around hooking in to your brain and keeping you constantly stimulated in a zombie like trance, so that people can extract money from you.

What boring yourself does is starves those pathways and resets the mind out of that zombie like trance. So here are the rules.

What I Can do

Meditate

Read

Write

Exercise

What I Can’t do

Use the Internet

Watch Television

Use Social Media

Socialising

Use any Screen

Eat Junk Food

No Substances

No Music

Etc...

Anything that I find stimulating is banned. Until 20/06/20, then I can slowly give myself back vices and keep them in a schedule, to find it easier for me to make my schedule stick.
