Samadhi Experiences?

41 posts in this topic

Among the Important things listed was the experience of samadhi. It sounds a lot like B-cog, mentioned in the "how your mind distorts reality" video, when you experience an object "as it is" rather than as you perceive it to be.

Out of all those listed, samadhi struck me as a very specific, practical goal to work towards, and I'm very curious about how to experience this. I'm sure the B-cog exercise will help, but I want to do more research on this.  From a quick google search, I'm seeing a lot of different explanations, but none of them seem very practical. Where can I find a solid explanation of samadhi?

"I gently pushed my hand into my pocket and pulled the last one out, it trembled at first and clung to my hand. "Go on, it will be ok," I whispered. Encouraged, it flexed its wings and I knew the time was right. It flew up towards the blue, blue sky and I looked proudly as it's made its way to freedom. The last of my fucks was finally given."

@joegarland Samadhi is a union. The final realization of what you truly are. A coming home.

@charlie2dogs Wait for it and it won't happen either. That would be no different than " trying to find it".  Children can often experience this out of nowhere.

B-cognition is Being-cognition or Being-perception. Leo talks about it in more detail in his 'Overcoming Addiction' video.

religious people have been saying that for hundreds of years, it means nothing to the human identity,  even a child is programed from the day it is born, it also comes in this world with quantum memory that is going to dictate some of the life that is lived by the identity. children are programed even before they can speak.

the first sign of programing and belief in a child is when it recognized its given name as itself.

@charlie2dogs Quantum memory. Sounds like just another brick in the wall that needs to be knocked down.
