Are You Improving?

So I've started meditating(been doing it for 3 days), I'm just curious about how you guys are measuring your progress. How do you guys know if your technique is a 'high yield' technique? Or if its ineffective?

And I also wanted to ask, how much improvement have you guys made since meditating? How long have you been meditating and what sort of interesting or helpful stuff are you guys noticing/ experiencing from meditation?

When I'm able to get into state faster then I know I'm improving.

I'd been meditating on and off for a year or so but 2 months ago I started regular meditation. I've noticed that when im working im able to be alot more present and enjoy silence. Also helps to increase your acceptance towards every situation and everything which makes your need to be elsewhere weaker. Also it increases your ability to focus since you become more present and you won't get mad as easy :D
