Balancing Life Purpose and social life

4 posts in this topic

Hey Leo (And Everyone Else),

Just joined the forum recently.

Just to give you an idea of where I'm at in my journey...

I've been meditating every single day for almost 5 years,

Experimenting with magic mushrooms every couple of months.

The rabbit hole is only going deeper.

As my awareness and consciousness expands,

I naturally continue to align my life with the Truth of who I really am.

My consciousness and awareness got to such high levels...

It led me to dropping out of school,

Letting of toxic friends / relationships,

Even creating certain boundaries with family...

So I can stay conscious and keep my energy levels high for my videos / clients...

And going completely full-time in my business and YouTube channel,

Which I've been posting daily on every single day for over 5 months now...

So I can be an embodiment of Truth and raise the consciousness of the planet.

(Huge thanks to Leo for putting me on this path).

Here's where I'm struggling a little bit right now.

I'm sort of in a grinding phase in my life where I'm completely surrendered to God and Truth,

Totally focused on my Life Purpose, YouTube channel, clients, business, etc...

That I've been putting a lot of my social life on hold right now,

Being pretty much alone in in this journey

(Other than my mentor),

While I build financial stability for my self, etc...

I'm totally fine with being alone right now,

Getting to my know myself deeper,

And building up my business, etc.

But basically what I'd like to know...

Is if there is a way to balance my social life with all of this,

And give my a soul a little bit of social connection (That is not based on any clients or mentors),

Without going clubbing and doing pickup or something...

I've been through that phase in the past as well...

And I don't really have a desire for this,

Because right now I see it as a distraction to my Life Purpose,

Lowering my state while being in that environment...

I could be wrong though.

If Leo or anyone else could me their opinion on the best way to add a social aspect to my life,

Without being distracted from my Life Purpose, YouTube Channel, and Business,

But actually doing it in a way that would support my purpose...

That would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I just need to keep hustling and embrace being alone for a couple more months while I build myself up...

And connect deeper to my Truth,

And the relationships will naturally arise.

Any advice would be appreciated. : )

Much Love,

Francis Trach

PS. Thanks again Leo for putting me on this path. I would not have have meditated every single day for over 4 years straight without your help.

Not sure if you have anything similar where you live, but I am in a similar situation and I go to two groups for toast masters each week. It is a public speaking group. I have meet some pretty cool people. All of them are typically older than me, but I don't really connect with many around my age typically anyway. I have found it to be good for social connection. Isolation is pretty good as well though, but depends on your needs.

I almost have no social life myself.

It also pretty much depends on how you define it. If by social life you mean meeting and socializing with people,i.e. casual conversations, I do not find this fulfilling at all. So I stopped doing this. I'd rather do something that's more valuable on my list.
However, I do appreciate friendship and talking to people who understand me and I understand them. But this does require time and effort to find such people. And I spend maybe 5% of my time for such things. Not sure my life would be that much better if I'd have > 5%.
