The Paradoxical Concept of the Absolute

3 posts in this topic

If every perceivable idea can considered truth by just thinking about it, consider this set of phrases:

Statement 1: There is no Absolute Truth.

Statement 2: There is an Absolute Truth.

Then what do we make of the Absolute? If everything is subjective/possible, then how can there still be a single truth?

The problem is those 2 sentences are just language. The truth is they are both the same thing. You are thinking about this in terms of concepts.

Those 2 concepts are relative, because they are both just thoughts in your mind. The truth is they are both thoughts that "are the case" in reality before you can analyze their meaning with other thoughts.

@EternalForest That's precisely why Truth cannot be captured with language. Because all language must first be Truth before you can use it.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
