Today, I had direct experience of how many options I lose in a day after wasting two hours of a day.

  • Minimize rumination about bad stuff that happened in your life.
  • Minimize day-dreaming
  • Minimize wasting time on ideological thinking
  • Minimize anger
  • Minimize your gullibility to various illusions of life.
  • Minimize internet surfing
  • Minimize consumption of unnecessary food
  • Minimize Porn
  • Minimize any task that is not important to your life purpose.
  • Minimize stupid mistakes
  • Minimize your stupidity
  • Minimize temptations
  • ...

@Aquarius

Rumination is a different mode of thinking from contemplation. Rumination happens when you are anxious and depressed. When you are depressed about your ex-girl friend, you are ruminating. It leads to stupid thought loops that trap you in unpleasant emotions, not intellectual thoughts.

Through contemplation, you solve problems, utilize systems thinking, and think about higher concepts.

By stopping rumination, you can spend more time on contemplation.
