It sounds like you're saying the lesson you learned was to push harder (or something like that).  Is that true?  

If so, could there be a different lesson as well?  Like, instead of pushing harder, maybe having a completely different strategy altogether.  Like maybe doing even smaller projects and experiments to develop your life purpose or something else, instead of just toggling with the effort you put into the same strategy.
