Help With Methods To Break Addiction

Leo recommended the following techniques as methods to break addiction: 

 

The Do nothing Method 

Mindfulness meditation 

Strong Determination Sitting 

Existential Investigation 

 

I am educated on mindfulness meditation and have watched his videos on it. I will get back in the habit of doing 15 minutes a day of open eyed mindfulness meditation where I observe my senses. 

 

I want more information on the other three techniques. Can someone please direct me to the videos that deal with this and possibly offer me more information on these, please (:

No. Just stop.

Start with 1 technique first until you are established in it. Meditation everyday and staying mindfulness as often as you can, preferably every second.

Leo did a video on the Do Nothing technique and SDS, also see Shinzen Young. You can combine SDS with the other two meditation techniques. 

And don't forget that awareness alone is curative. Observe the activity you are addicted to. The more mindful you are the better. Mindfulness meditation will train this.
