Yes, real thing. Can't decide, wait it out.

I actually can't grasp the concept of hooking up and then immediately being able to cut ties with the person on all levels (mental, emotional, spiritual) as you walk out the door, and then just go on merrily with your life. I'd love to be able to do that, sounds fun. Either I'm doing it wrong and/or have some emotional issues that I need therapy for OR I'm tapped into something wiser than the people who are able to do it are. I'm open to both possibilities.

I can relate. As soon as I have sex with a woman, I have a soft spot for her. I don't necessarily want to be with her just because I slept with her, but after sex, if she comes to me and wants warmth or for me to listen to her or anything else, I'm very willing to be there however she wants. Maybe I feel like I owe it to her?

This often isn't ideal because you become emotionally invested in someone you really don't want a serious relationship with. This led me into bad relationships.
