I wouldn't recommend it, forex is very volatile and is mostly a get rich quick scheme. I would make money in a way that's aligned in your industry. If you have around $800 USD you can buy a nice camera and start getting paid to shoot concerts and events which will get you networking in the scene.

You could also work as a promoter for other artists and sell tickets to their events and eventually be an opening act and then in a couple years sell your own shows. 

The road to becoming profitable in trading is around mastering complex arbitrage strategies which can work if you have an a deep interest in finance but be careful getting tricked into "Copy these trades and make 200% yearly returns no effort needed!" It seems like mastering a basic fundamental skill like videography or direct response marketing will be a much better foundation to your skillset and will give you the foundation to start marketing and profiting off of your own work much faster than trying to become a quantitive analyst that crushes forex.
