It’s a big book. It doesn’t teach how to do seduction, it just shows you the mechanisms and patterns, IIRC. I’m not a fan of wasting my time on all his historical examples to extract the mechanisms. I like examples to illustrate points, but wasting 10-20 minutes on each example is annoying af. I would use AI to extract the mechanisms. AI can replace most books these days to cut through all the fluff and bullshit. So I would acquire the book’s outline and ask AI what each section is about, and learn from the bottom up.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

@Joshe art of seduction is a 10/10 book. It will blow your mind. One of the deepest system out there when it comes to seduction. Its machiavellian seduction. But idk how effective it is. No idea about dating efficiency. AOS and mystery method came the same time. Pickup artist adopted MM. Its 25 years now since AOS is published.

I love AOS. But it need a lot of time to work. You need a lot of time. And also a lot of skills needed.

All of the pickup is build on MM

Pickup artists respect AOS a lot

It's near the top of my to read list. Currently reading his other book Laws of Human Nature and once I finish that I'll probably pickup a copy of the art of seduction.

I'm very familiar with seduction strategies and framework, I'm now looking for a more historical exploration of how seduction work and the different archetypes of it. Especially I'm interested if he's gonna touch on the sensual lover archetype that enjoys human sensuality and connection and thus values having many sexual partners as that's the one I feel myself developping into. It seems missing from modern discourse as sexuality is either talked about in terms of solely the strategy of it or how the sexual revolution has affected culture whereas I'm more interested in the exploration of love with many people otherwise known as polyamory!

I like this image, came up when I typed polyamory wallpaper on Google images. Combines the many loves etymology of Polyamory(poly = many and amory means love) with the bisexuality angle of being able to desire and love both genders.

The dream is not easy but each day we're getting closer

Read whatever you like. There is no pattern for everyone to conform to. Perhaps the book teaches you something others already know, or aren't ready for yet.
