I agree. Israel is doing exactly what Hamas/Iran expected and provoked it to do, and also what the USA would do if put in the same situation.  Therefore Israel's behavior isn't that crazy or unwarranted.

America is not annexing territory. At least not until Trump came along, who is a devil.

Any time you judge something as good/bad or right/wrong you are projecting an internal bias onto the world.

This is especially evident in anything political. The only way to be objective about politics is to look at things with an analytical lens and seek to understand what exists today, why it is set up that way, and on what path did things evolve to get there.

I don't see anything wrong with having political opinions, they determine things about your life, but they are largely out of your control unless you are able to directly influence them yourself.

But if you want to be objective, it's important to recognize that they're just opinions.

Calling Trump a devil is bias. I didn't vote for him, I don't share many of his values, but there were important social, systemic, and personal reasons that he got elected twice.

For example, when you have a legislative body that is unwilling and/or unable to solve national problems, power tends to shift towards a stronger executive regardless of who is in power.  This can be dangerous for obvious reasons, but it also provides the opportunity for a capable and benevolent president to be able to make the institutional fixes that need to be made at some point in the future.
