Gambling addiction recovery purpose!!!

4 posts in this topic

I’m thinking about going all in on a gambling addiction awareness channel, mainly by creating short videos for Instagram and TikTok. I’d also like to find a way to monetize it eventually.

However, I have a couple of limiting beliefs about this.

First, there are already thousands of influencers creating content about gambling addiction, and I’m afraid I’ll just be another one of them.

Second, I have doubts about whether I’ll ever be able to make money from it. Who would actually pay me for this kind of work?

Third, I feel like short-form content has become so competitive that, without a strong hook, unusual music, or some other attention-grabbing element, nobody will watch my videos. If I make videos in a more natural style, like Leo does on Instagram, I’m afraid they won’t get any views. Does creating content today mean you have to use these kinds of techniques to get people’s attention?

What do you think about these beliefs? Are they realistic concerns, or am I overthinking things? I’d appreciate any advice on how to challenge them and move forward.

There is a demand for this. Gambling is at an all time high.

I would be interested to know what the risks are from doing it once. I like to try many things once to collect the experience and perspective but I wonder if that is already kind of risky.

I remember trying cigarettes for the first time. I’m still smoking. You can definitely try but I wouldn’t recommend coming to it when you’re struggling financially or unhealthy in the mind.

for the OP, there are many addicts so definitely there is a market for it. I would first of ask, can you really solve it?
