Johnny Harris' new China video is interesting

A Little Chinese history and why China's infrastructure is the envy of the world, in Harris' signature style.

Hey thanks for sharing this one. I've known parts of this story through various books and audio podcasts like the NY times but it was good to get the visual element of this Johnny Harris video.

Glad you liked it. Ya its well done and has some really interesting facts about the Chinese political system I didn't know. Like that Chinese politicians are elected but they are graded by the Communist Party on how well they perform. That to me makes a lot of sense but it's also scary how much the CCP is involved with everything.

The problem with USA is that they are too focused on elections, wasting lots of time and money. The saving grace is top companies and technologies are still in America. Resources are still pouring in because people still don't trust China and India that much.

In China, they don't even care about elections anymore. It's all about building infrastructures and connectivity.
