Maybe but if for you this reality is an illusion and there is another reality more real then there is a barrier. This right now is the reality, and the self is an expression of the reality, it's absolutely real (because it's the reality), then you can open yourself to it totally, without reservation, without the idea of illusions

I don't think I ever said this reality is an illusion and there is another reality that is more real.

I think we still have miscommunication with the separate self thing. (certain aspects have fallen away here)

I like this video by Leo, radical nonduality basically says the same. All there is is This/God, remove all backstories.

Is it really possible to say "I am" God.

Remove "I am".  Just God.
