It's already not there and yet functioning seems to occur just fine correct?

There isn't a real "you" underneath the ego. The ego is the illusion of "you"

Of late you seem to have a strange obsession with the idea of putting wooden objects in your ass. A few days ago, it was a baseball bat. Today it's a stick. I think that will be enough of that talk. Thanks.
