A vendor may list a certificate of analysis on the product page, or provide one on request if they did the testing. 

Such obscure substances can only be labtested, no reagent works. And still it has to be in their FTIR library already, which is probable but not a guarantee.

I've never tested anything though, just requested CoA where available or did additional purification myself. The only potential problem with a trustworthy source could be accidental mislabeling, but they should have controls in place to prevent that.

If you live in Switzerland you can take it to a specialized test source (provided by the government for free) and they test it for you.

I tested 5-MeO-DMT once via such service and it came back >99% purity with no other detected substances.

Depending on where you live you could see if such services exist.

It's also a good idea to take a small(er) dose first time you open a new batch.

Very nice thank you! I asked and they do analyse MALT

Years ago I used https://energycontrol-international.org/ but it can take up to 3 months for 5-MeO and they charge 70€ unlike Nectar which starts at 20

They do exist that's what I did for acid and 5-MeO-DMT but MALT is more rare so it complicates things, I'm still digging but there's Nectar for 20 bucks though so that's nice

Yes, EC is sorta outdated, not keeping up with the times so much. Nectar is also active on darknet forums sharing interesting data and harm reduction PSAs. Whatever was in Kykeon's FTIR lib should be in theirs, including 5MM. Testing is quite unnecessary though, either of the sites you're thinking of has pure substance, one of them already comes with a CoA.

It's been carved in my skull for years to always test substances lol, although it is from a reasonably safe source, plus I'm God so I should be fine right

I'll test it out of principle since it's easy too but your words inspire confidence
