I think this guy is a masterclass of holding state. Am I wrong?  Instead of an ancient swordsman maybe dressing up as someone cool would work even better?.

I love this guys's reels, everyone needs a good call to adventure. It's more of an example of frame than state. State is a flow state where you feel good and not anxious about talking to others. Frame is controlling an interaction around your worldview and emotions and not letting it get overpowered by another person. So random person's frame walking down the street is probably like being stressed and slightly angry, wanting to get home or to x store to get groceries and not wanting to talk to be bothered on the way there. By using novelty and storytelling this guy uses frame control on them and theres one where he goes Karaoing with a random dude, it's actually a good example of the idea that strangers are not really strangers and you can just invite them out to listen to music or to the bar or to fuck you if you just ask and have good social skills. 

This one with Bingles the elf cracks me up lmao reproducing his species, seems like it worked! Classic opener.
