I'm doing psych research on thoughts and now I need YOUR data (no wrong answers)

I've noticed something about how my mind works and I'm curious if it's universal or just a me-thing. This isn't a real study, just an informal questionnaire to gather a few data points from people who aren't me. Honest answers appreciated, however "normal" or "weird" they feel.

  1. Whenever you think of something — an idea, a realization, some insight — instead of it just existing as a standalone thought, how often do you catch yourself narrating it to someone else? Like a little scene in your head where you're sharing it with a person?
  2. Roughly what percentage of your thoughts happen this way vs. just as a plain thought with no imagined scene? (rough guess is fine — 10%, 50%, 90%?)
  3. How often do you daydream in general? And when you do, are you usually a character in the daydream, or more of an outside observer watching it happen?
  4. If you are in the daydream — what role do you usually play? And what role do other people in it play?

No wrong answers, genuinely just trying to figure out if this is universal or specific to how I think. Please try to be as honest as possible.

...I think it's usually me doing something embarrassing or admirable, lol, and people are either judging or appreciating me.
