Is it safe to reveal my business ideas?

@integral Honestly, ideas are worth nothing, unless you have some super easy to copy business model that will make someone rich or famous in 2 weeks, then I wouldn´t worry about revealing it. Most business ideas take months, years, maybe even decades to workout and if I look around me, I am the only one doing something else then a 9 to 5, most people are not even having the ambition to escape the 9 to 5. So this fear about revealing you´re business idea unless they can be successful in 2 weeks, is just irrational, also don´t put too much importance on ideas, it is about execution. My dad always said he had the best ideas, yet he never did anything with any of these ideas, it is just mind play.

My problem is anyone with an audience can copy it. Most influencers can copy any business idea they want. They have the skills. audience and resources to push it.

@integral you make it sound like you got some quick rich or quick famous scheme idea, but if it is that good, then why haven´t you succeeded yet?

You do, it's called a content strategy! If you start posting reels and shorts a few days a week you'll get to 100K+ monthly views pretty quick. I'm in a slump right now but I get around 10k monthly views on my IG. It's exhausting to stay consistent though. We should start a content creator accountability trend on the forum, it's one of the lowest friction ways to take an idea to market and refine your marketing skills.

My problem right now is I built a content machine AI automatically generating videos, but to my standard it's just not good enough.
And to get it to be good enough, I'm gonna have to spend at least 3-5 hours editing each video a day, its probably going be more.

Absolutely, also one of the good reasons of partnering up with someone is accountability.

I would say go for quantity over quality, AI content is a great start. Your own standard is always biased but what the market values is predictable so as long as you post regularly and iterate you'll eventually hit it. Video editing for hours even weekly let alone daily is a recipe for burnout if you're not passionate about it, it's such an unfun activity.

@LordFall quantity over quality is good for instagram, you can literally post 100 videos on ig, get one winning concept and stick to it, this is literally how most viral pages work, they just tried a bunch of shit, one goes viral, they just base every video on that winning concept.

On youtube it is more complicated, you need a few hours to work on your thumbnail alone, I am using chatgpt to help me with bettering my thumbnail, which helps allot, aswell as editing most of your video. 

I make around 50 mins of content on youtube then edit it down to 18 to 20 mins. This takes maybe 8 hours of editing. Not to forget to have something interesting like pictures or some other stuff in your videos. If you don't do this, either by great charisma or amazing organic content, you can grow. The problem is my organic unedited content almost never got views, so I am sticking to editing my videos even if it takes me 8 hours longer, I know it will get me atleast 100 to 3000 views. Instagram is much easier, but also a bit pointless as most of these followers are shit, like tiktok followers, they don't mean shit, they have very low attention span.

Yeah that's fair, I think Youtube works mostly from niches. When I was playing league of legends a lot I had a few videos do well and I haven't been able to replicate the success since then.

What I like about Instagram is you can interact with your audience much easier so you can do sales in the DM for example so I can picture building an automated machine that works quite well. 

Ultimately you guys know best what you're trying to build but I'm a tactician before an artist so for me building the machine is most important and then when I can predict how it works then I can use sudden bursts of inspiration and creativity to put my own personal art into it. Otherwise taking hours to edit a video and it got 3000 views instead of 1000 and I still got nothing out of it would be such a waste of time to me.

@LordFall It is interesting as I have the exact opposite idea. I feel instagram is a waste of time as most of these people aren't really serious, imagine coaching someone who is addicted to tiktok? Kinda hard. Now instagram is the lighter version of tiktok. I do agree that the possibility of dming on instagram is awesome. Me and a friend of mine would run a business on instagram about dating, we couldn't get to find one proper person from instagram to coach. Now of course we stopped that business and are no longer friends due to private reasons I won't share online. When youtube you have much better and higher quality people, which also requires much higher quality content.
