Dreams and Alternate Realities

2 posts in this topic

Hey all. My questions are simple and might have been answered already in the past.

Are dreams a portal to an alternate reality?

What happens to (our) consciousness when we are dreaming?

Are the characters of our dreams living and thinking, id est do they have awareness in our dreams? And does that awareness persist even when we are not dreaming them anymore?

Do dreams have a causal effect with our subconscious, hence their relative content to our lives, or are they the product of something more Divine?

Not all dreams are alike . A lucid dream is directly generated by your imagination. In Some dreams you see the future ..that’s part of how Deja Vu happens .. you see a scene in the real world where you feel like it happened before ? It happened in a dream . So you could say there is such a thing as “alternate realities “.  And yes the content of your dreams is highly dependent on your waking life experiences. You usually see people you know in real life for example.

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."
