Important to take meds for bipolar/schizophrenia

So I would just like to remind people who suffer from schizophrenia, bipolar or schizoaffective to take meds. It is such a wonderful invention of modern science. Currently I am on haloperidol as it has the least impact on my weight gain and I can be thin and also Normal in my consciousness. Some mania is still there but I welcome it as it helps with productivity to be a bit energized and also it leads to fun times .

 

So I've hinting a bit that I might also be on the autism spectrum but I doubt it, I've been through a very rough life on this realm, I've been hurt physically, sexually assaulted and stuff in my youth and, you know, Life in sweden is pretty fucked up. The region that i live has a lot of alcoholism and a bunch of drug addicts. It lends itself to a lot of domestic abuse and violence and shit. I grew up in a small town, with a bunch of fucking white trash scum who would beat the shit out of you in school. That's all i want to say, i was also a bit of a bad guy, not necessarily cruel but I also hurt some people. 

 

Trauma can really fuck things up for you mentally later on, It's usually the most traumatized among us that develop these kinds of mental disorders. I'd like to remind you once again to take your meds, adjust the dose, it's a night and day difference, I'm able to work, do creative projects and enjoy my life to the fullest now, and I hope you can too.

 

If you're the rare person that can manage living without too many or any medications at all, I salute you sir, and i shalt not trespass upon your life choices. Have a good day

It's very hard to commit to medication, but for the best.

My stepdad has bpd and schizophrenia. Non-compliance with medication has been an issue for him.

As soon as he was regular with meds and therapy be made leaps and bounds in functionality. He struggled for a long time hurting himself and those close to him.

The best apology is a change in behaviour.

I would also like to say that struggling to take medications when you have this disorder is very common, around 50% of people who suffer from these disorders struggle with taking the medications long term, because maybe they're sceptical about it, there are severe side effects sometimes, and occassionally you'll stop realizing that you're sick, you might deny that you have a serious mental illness etc. That is also part of the illness, to deny that you have an illness, i would say. So get in touch with whatever healthcare institution is available in your country and be responisble with medications. I feel a bit preachy here but It needs to be said for the aforementioned reason, especially seeing as 50% struggle.

 

Also we've seen people in the actualized community struggle with grounding themselves and going completely bonkers, taking large doses of psychedelics. I've been doing this myself, I've been there. And i've also been the person who struggled with medications!

I would like to understand more about Bipolarity, its levels, its real consequences for individuals and for the people in relationship with them. 

Maybe even there is a Deeper meaning of what Bipolarity is in a Large View of the things.
