Thinking about trying dmt

8 posts in this topic

Ive been thinking about trying normal DMT I am prone to anxiety but it's stuff from this dimension. I can't handle a 6-hour mushrooms trip. I don't want to do the to say I've done DMT, but to have an experience to make me appreciate life. I feel like I have more courage for 10 to 20 minutes then 5 hours.. I also feel like I don't fear death at least in the way other people do. I have cerebral palsy and feel like a old man in a young persons body and I want to see what it would be like to be outside of this appearance

Well, if you use a DMT pen, you could take small hits and see if what they feel like for you and if you want to continue. DMT and 5-MeO DMT will both invoke fear for sure, even if you've done it multiple times, it's a healthy respect type of thing. What happened on your mushroom trips?

My first mushrooms trip I cried and released repressed truma it was great! But I've had truma after it. Neighbors that made me paranoid. That’s why I feel like I can’t handle mushrooms. They’ve been gone for six years and whenever I smoke weed, I feel like they’re coming after me. I don’t wanna do mushrooms to trip. I want to have that release again not for bliss but for clense.

That makes it impossible to predict what will happen.

@Leo Gura sounds like my life in a nutshell, unpredictable about what could happen at any moment I don’t have the control others so they have over reality so surrender has been part of my whole experience lol

10 to 20 minutes in a full blast of DMT can feel like then 5000 hours. In your case I wouldn't do it without someone mature, ideally spiritually mature and experienced with psychedelics to watch over you and know how to guide in case of an unexpected reaction or panic attack, if you are prone to such things then DMT may definitely not be for you right now until you feel more calm, centered and stable.

I wouldn't say that that DMT will invoke fear or paranoia, this is common but not always the case with some users, especially those who are more spiritually refined, and especially those experienced with other realms and traversing between dimensions and worlds.

Personally I would stick to low-dose shrooms, cactus, or even micro-dosing paired with meditation, kriya and other spiritual modalities until you feel more balanced and less anxious. I would also look into healthier diet and lifestyle as a lot of the issues we have today in modern society stem a lot from what we consume on a daily basis and expose our senses to. A lot of harsh chemicals in our food, water and environment, we have to cleanse our bodies too, this is why shamans have special diets / dieta and long term preparations beforehand to get the most out of your trip. Meditation and Clean Living can make the worlds difference in your trips.

Substances can help with spiritual / energetic cleansing or refreshment / reset but the actual purification of the body / mind is entirely on you. We have to 'do the work' and put the long hours in to actually see a lasting difference, otherwise we fall back to old habits and programming. The point is to make actual progress between trips so you aren't stuck in a cycle.

At low dose DMT is managable, but at high dose is will terrify you like no other.
