Do We Really Need Goals In Our Life?

3 posts in this topic

I started my self actualization journey more or less 3 years ago and gradually changed my mindset - and life. Setting goals with specific deadlines and regular reviews has been a habit for me.

However in this very moment I'm wondering if this is really the best way to become a truly happy and fulfilled person. Does setting goals create an addiction to results? Is it possible to set goals for my development and at the same time be happy in the moment and detached from the external world? I think happiness should be in the process, not in the result...

I think it's best not to think in absolutes.

Set goals the majority of the time. But also allow for times to just let things be and unwind.
