Morons with Privilege - Mega Thread

Girl lies on dating app says she's 29 and she's actually 39, successful realtor she pays for all of his living expenses and stuff, she asks him to move in, everything's going well they're in love, he reads her mail finds out she's 39, feels scammed, they have a massive break up.

Here are the facts:

  • They were in love and compatible, her age doesn't matter because it's already proven they're compatible
  • She looks 20, is basically a model.

He's a classic case of someone who maximizes his privilege and will not accept anything less. All of this is just subconscious programming he doesn't see the water he doesn't see his privilege.

He's going to realize what matters in life when he's 90. He thinks what matters in life is getting everything he has the privileged to get.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Brother,

this seems like a waste of attention. In my opinion. This kind of glamour reality television deserves to be ignored and disregarded. Why waste any thought on some petty dispute between two people? One is a liar, the other may be vain. Who cares. They got into this mess because 1: lying. 2. Vanity. and 3. This looks staged.

"Why waste any thought on some petty dispute between two people"
This isn't rhetorical actually, though i initially meant it to be. I'm genuinely curious about your perspective. Though I frame it in a potentially negative way, I'm open to a reframe. I personally see it as a petty dispute not worth attention.

Well we're extrapolating something from it, some insight.

If it was Trump doing something and we extracted some insight from it would that be worth it? lol

I don't know if my girlfriend model who looks 20 with perfect big hips ( as he stated) who is paying for everything, who I'm compatible with and in love with. If she reveals a lie to me I likely wouldn't give a shit. If she cheated on me that's a completely different story and that reflects that you can't be trusted and she has deeper issues.

It's easy to put yourself in her perspective and understand why she lied about her age, and after all he fell for it, why because she looks 20.

The thread is about people not understanding the standards they're putting into place are based on valuing very narrow specific things over other things because they're myopic, they can't see the full picture.

I put this in personal development, because you need to be more developed as a person to put yourselves in someone else's perspective, and to have the wisdom to know what is important in life.

He doesn't know what's important.
