Does Meditation Really Help?

In Leo`s episode about 250 traps he stated that to really gain good benefits from meditation you need to do it hardcore. Like retreats, not focus your breath for 20 minutes bullshit. I`ve been meditating for around 3 years now.

Would it be better to switch to something else, like contemplation? Or meditation gives good benefits and I misunderstood Leo?

@SimpleGuy Have you experienced any benefits in those 3 years? 

Leo would probably say to switch to Kriya Yoga, as he did, as far as I'm aware.

Can you suggest some kriya yoga practice. I dont wanna read an entire book to find out.

Yeah, I experienced big gains, but I feel like I`m missing out on something

From information that I heard you either dive in fully into kriya yoga, learn it deeply or not learn it at all because it can do more harm to you than good if you didn`t study kriya yoga properly
