Kundalini awakening and psychedelics

4 posts in this topic

question to the people who have gone through full kundalini awakening; how do you know when you're ready for psychedelics again? I get mixed messages online, some saying to stay far away from psychedelics for a long time. And i kind of get it; im going through kundalni awakening right now, and initially it felt extremely overwhelming. However at this point i feel very grounded in my new state. Althrough there is still a lot of emotional / trauma purging and ego dissolving going on.

I really feel a call to ayahuasca, but its only been a couple of weeks since my kundalini awakening, and as mentioned, initially it was extremely intense. i spent almost two full days in a full on psychedelic state with type of crazy shit happening. I do however feel i was very prepared for the shift, and because of that my baseline increased more dramatically than i have ever experienced before

I would really like some insight / sparring from people who have gone through the full kundalini awakening, and how they now treat psychedelics

I wouldn't call it "fully awakened Kundalini" in my case, but my process seems to have stabilized after many years of ups and downs.

Why do you want to take psychedelics right now?

You mentioned your awakening was only a couple of weeks ago. That is a very short time. Initially, the shift is often intense and blissful, but the real work is the integration that follows. Since you are still "purging" and "dissolving," your nervous system is likely already working at maximum capacity.

Are you looking for another peak experience or in other words are you trying to bypass the current emotional work? The sooner you can stop searching for better or more intense spiritual experiences, the more the actual silence can pervade your life.

Psychedelics can be a great tool to recognize barriers, but they can also be a massive distraction from simply accepting what is. If the energy is already moving and your baseline has increased, maybe the best medicine right now is patience and giving your body time to act as a stable capacitor for this new energy.

@Grateful Dead im not planning on doing psychedelics anytime in the near future, im merely looking for guidance as to how to know when you're good to go again. Intuitively, my mental state currently feels just as stable as before the initial awakening, but im not taking any chances so im searching for some kind of actual guideline of sorts

can you put a few words on your purging / trauma release process, and how to manage it the best? I find myself eager to enter my trauma and shadow sides, but it seems the true healing happens only when i surrender even the desire to heal, and let the kundalini decide when the time is to release and when not to

also any tips / advices in general, dos and donts? :D
