I get no visuals with mushrooms, anyone else the same?

After decades of sober meditation, I decided to give psychedelics a careful try, starting with the already famous Amsterdam psilocin drops.

Not having any previous psychedelic experience, I thought they would blow my mind even with a small dose, but as it had no effect whatsoever on me, I increased it, reaching the number of drops that reportedly should exclusively be taken by experienced psychonauts... But the result was zero again. When I say zero, I mean I could have gone playing basketball like nothing...

Has anybody had similar (lack of) experiences with this particular brand or with psilocin in general?

I also don't really hallucinate. Reality just gets extremely vivid for me, even on super high doses (5g+). 

I'm speculating here, but I think that if you have a robust metaphysical framework (e.g. that reality is a giant mind), then the trips are less visually distracting, and you can just focus on experiencing God right here right now.

@enzyme I've got 36 mushroom trips under my belt and a handful of different strains. (All documented on this forum BTW.)
In my experience...

• Highest visual strain was African Transkei and Mazatapec.
• Lowest Visual for me were Blue meanies, Liberty Caps, Wavy caps.

But all strains will have visuals at a high enough dose. 

Take into account that the amount of visuals vary relative to the person's brain makeup.
