I want to be social but don't want to go outside

6 posts in this topic

I’m too lazy to go outside and socialize, but I’d like to meet people (especially women and maybe get laid, lol).

It’s like I have two opposing forces pulling me in different directions. One wants me to stay where I am; another wants me to go outside.

I can’t even push myself to take small steps because they feel uncomfortable and exhausting/laborious. (I haven't been outside of my house for 3 days now and I feel like a big slob)

Help please :x

There is a billion dollars start up idea here lol
seriously though, the more you stay inside, the more it pulls you in, the less your desire to touch grass gets. what you're feeling now isn't real, as soon as you dress well and get outside, you realize it's not as bad as you felt.

Our modern environments and the shit that we eat and watch is designed to keep us depressed, unconfident, and fearful to step outside our comfort box in endless loops. Sticky food > sticky body > sticky thoughts > sticky life ;) Escaping / suppressing / numbing / casting spells on ourselves, that's what's really happening. Take the first step, baby steps. Do one little thing different, one step closer to being outside. There's a whole reality out there, we were never meant to be inside, shelter is mostly for sleep / rest.

@YIDIRYIDIR @Ramasta9

Do you ever get that feeling of emptiness where nothing seems to be interesting and there's no motivation towards anything? (Everything just feels so grey like there's no color to life)
Even just getting out of bed in the morning is painful. I even got a nice life purpose, but lately everything seems so fucking dull (I'm not even trying to sound depressed and i'm not on drugs either :P)

Yes, like i said, the constant stimulation from screens/devices and junk/processed foods (these are like drugs too) disrupt our nervous system and hormones leaving us felling (numb, unmotivated, depressed, sad, angry, lazy). Do you have a backyard? a tree you can sit next to, just putting your feet on the ground and doing some deep breathing / meditation or laying in the sun for a bit or visiting the local park, or playing with an animal or simply listen go the birds, or the beach for a swim, whatever is the easiest for you, try a little, see how you feel afterwards, make some tea, drink some water, whatever helps break the old cycle, one small step at a time, the color and spark eventually comes back, but not unless you make that little push, that little change, even adjusting your diet and device use a little can make a noticeable change to something healthier or more wholesome. See how that goes.

Stop masturbating and eating processed food and carbs.

Practice doing a daily walk in nature or sitting in a busy restaurant or Internet cafe when going online instead of doing it at home.

Use online dating
