Thoughts on Experience

@Mellowmarsh, psychedelics might be of help.

The profoundness of the trip would likely shock you.

I don't feel quite confident to formulate an answer now, because I only had two profound trips, and I barely began understanding it. However, if you do, your state will change, and you might have an awakening.

Thanks Nemra, I’ve heard about how psychedelic usage is a beneficial experience for those seeking to transcend the illusory sense of separation. But I’m not into it, never have been, never will be. I could be missing out on something amazing but I’d rather stay grounded, I have a fear of heights, lol, just kidding. 😊 Thanks for engaging in this kind of discourse.

Psychedelics are just different type of experience. Most people get lost within and to get out is even more difficult then ordinary human being.

Because, ego will have new identity, god.

The point is surrendering the one who uses psychedelics, including her/his experiences.

Yes thanks for that, I agree with you, and yes, I’ve already done the surrendering so I know what you mean, in fact I understand everything you ever talk about on this forum. 🙂

By your logic, you should also surrender meditation.

Well, do what you want, but at least be coherent and honest with yourself.

There could be other legitimate reasons why you wouldn't or shouldn't do meditation or psychedelics without justifying it with your beliefs or ideology.

Definitely, surrendering anything and everything. Stepping back from the body.

If you surrender everything, your body will stop functioning.

😂 Are you in control of heart beat, liver function etc...? 😂. Or maybe only thoughts, that actually creates you? 😊

Surrender eating food. 😉

That's your logic, not mine.

Entire you is just eating food then 😂

You eat, or body eat? Do you control the feeling of hunger of the body, or body reacts as it is hungry?

Do you understand that food is something that your body needs?

Everything includes food.

You said surrender everything, which means to surrender your hunger.

Surrendering everything mean is stop controlling the body and mind.

So, how liver or heart works, hands, mouth will work the way to eat the food, and stomach will digest.

Body never needs you, actually never have you.

Only, attachment to thinking creates the so called illusion of control, me ness. Not even.

It’s more to do with surrendering the “doer” by understanding the idea that there’s no “someone” like a little person inside the body who is in full control of its body. There isn’t, even though it kinda feels like there is.

This is about surrendering to the illusory belief that there’s a separate little “ someone” called (me)who is the doer, doing everything, when in reality, there’s just everything doing everything. Totally, one without a second.

Doing is done, no doer thereof, where actions and events occur through natural, total functioning, but there is no separate, independent ego or “individual agent” behind them.

That’s all James is pointing to.

If you had only done what your body needed, you'd be just an animal.

However, you are doing things that you want to do, e.g., posting in this thread or another thing.

So, you're being disingenuous with me.

By the way, no matter how much you say not to control the body and mind, you have control over them in ways that aren't obvious to you immediately. Sure, you don't have direct control of your organs.

What you said isn't a serious justification for not meditating or doing psychedelics.

Mind say above, because it is afraid to lose authority.

What is wrong with animals? For example a lion, just kill to eat, just for necessary. Nothing for extra. Look at the world, %1 of people owns %90 of entire worth. So, being an animal is way better than being a human 😂

Body is one with universe. İf there is no air, there is no body, if there is no sun, there is no body. İf there is no meat, vegetables and water, there is no body.

So many of you just in the path as entertainment, to achieve something. Don't have the balls to die.
