@NewKidOnTheBlock Thanks for being open-minded. You are right that claiming that a book is built on fabrications is a strong statement. There are a lot of fabrications, but most information about North Korea has truth to it.

What's problematic is just giving some information without giving context about the horror of imperialism.

If you learn about the history of imperialism, you will realize that the US has a game plan for overthrowing governments it doesn't have control over.

Imagine you are the leader of a little country that's not a superpower, and you want your people to profit from the resources of your land. Not under the watch of the US! Can't let this happen! This is their game plan, and it is always roughly the same (all of this is bipartisan):

• If you don't do censorship and run elections, the US buys your media and floods the country with western propaganda and then a paid asset from the US is running in an election. If they win you loose and your people loose and the US companies get all the resources. Bummer!
• If their asset looses the election, they will claim the election was a fraud and incite fake protests and hope enough people join for a coup to get you overthrown and the asset into office.
• If that doesn't work because you fought against the fake uprising, they will claim you are anti freedom and sanction your country in hopes that the people start to think the suffering in your country is your fault even though it's the fault of the US so they can incite fake protests again.
• If that doesn't work they will just straight up kidnap you or bomb you or whatever because they are the US they can do whatever the fuck they want nobody is going to stop them
• If you are smart, you know that wanting the best for your people is a literal death sentence in this world, and you will try to get your hands on a nuclear bomb as fast as possible.
• But this is risky since this will enable the US to claim you are evil even more and just take you out even faster. So there really is no hope.
• If,        and only if,       out of SOME miracle from heaven you SOMEHOW manage to build nukes, then congratulations! You get to live (for now)
• But every single second of your life you will be aware that the US hates you and wants you gone and if it even finds the smallest opportunity to fuck you in the ass, the US is going to do that. That's why you need to be the pure paranoia embodied on earth in order to survive. That's not pathological, that's healthy for you and your people while the US still exists. Spoiler, that's not really how they want to live and that's why they want the US to fucking die. I think their extreme view of the US is totally understandable.

Once you know this pattern, you will see it everywhere. It was always happening, and it is still happening to this day.

I can't help but to pat North Korea on the shoulder for managing pull that shit off. But they are not off the hook. They need to stay strong and keep the burning hate of America and the west alive. When they do that, they will be fine but only then they will be fine.

So if you criticise the DPRK for being paranoid I say YES THAT'S RIGHT THAT'S BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FUCKING STUPID

@Cred Yeah, I'm inclined to more or less agree with this assessment, as long as we acknowledge that it doesn’t vindicate any of the BS all these other countries are committing. The US tho, might've just replaced Russia as a #1 global threat in my view. Then again, it might’ve always been #1 since the end of WWII, and we were all just foolish and naive about it. Who knows. But with this MAGA administration, I think there are no whats, ifs, or whys about it anymore. If Europe doesn’t cut ties with the US completely while this shitshow keeps going on and the individual countries won't distance themselves from this BS sufficiently enough, then that’s pretty much GGs for any interest in politics from my side. Anyways I'm pretty sure Europe is not much better than the US. Again, there is no big difference between republicans, democrats and even European social democracies. They are all pro capitalism and therefore pro imperialism. Almost every video i watched of Putin (not by the western media) but alternate sites and media, the man speaks with intelligence and integrity, and there's a genuine and stable energy about him. Everyone else in the west, full of lies and scrips and absolute garbage coming out of their mouths.

Hell all you have to do is search putin / truth ect.. on instagram and find little trails of gems you will never see on your TV

Yeah. It is important to note though that this is a long process to go through. It requires a big shift in identity, since most of us were tought that the west are the good guys from a very young age.

The process goes usually like this:
