Netflix has withdrawn its offer to buy Warner Bros / Discovery, so Paramount will be buying it.

Paramount is controlled by David Ellison, a Trump supporting billionaire who already got control of CBS and put Bari Weiss in charge.

His father Larry Ellison is the founder of tech company Oracle and a major Trump donor and largest individual donor the IDF, he recently got control of Tiktok, and once said he supports mass surveillance because it will make citizens “be on their best behavior”. Soon after the purchase Tiktok banned the Emmy award winning Palestinian journalist Bisan who covered the Gaza conflict.

Damn HBO makes some of the best shows, hope they're not gonna go braindead christian and ruin it because durrr nudity. Watching Rome right now it's amazing. Cool to see social dynamics played out that you don't see in our day to day world.
