Are humans animals or God ?

I've been confused by this problem, because on the one hand evolution says that humans are a species of animals. On the other hand, spirituality says, we are God. So which is true ? And i think that God is hallucinating himself to be an animal. So within the hallucination, Humans are animals. Outside the hallucination we are God. I think i got it right.

They're both true in their own ways.

In general,  the spiritual model includes more within its schema; so in a manner of speaking, one could argue that the spiritual perspective in more true.  On the other hand, the evolutionary model could be considered more true ( accurate ) because it excludes error-prone subjective judgements via the scientific method.
