doesn't a re-bounder use up a lot of space? they look fun though.

Its a mini-trampoline, doesn't use up much space, mines only 110cm in diameter, and some can be folded up and stored away easily.

I am a big proponent of finding an excercise you enjoy. Experiment with different sports till you find one that brings you some happiness. If you're bored it won't be possible in the long term to build good consistent habits and routines.

if i have a 19m^2 room with furniture in it, 1m^2 is a lot😅

but i get your point and these things do look fun:) maybe at a different stage in life i'll reconsider getting one.

Yeah I can understand. It was regarded by NASA as the most complete form of exercise pumping every cell of your body. Saying 15 minutes of rebounding is equivalent to 1 - 2 hours of most other exercises in health-effects on the overall body.

I would often count my breathing at the start of a run, four paces in, four paces out. It feels quite artificial, but it does stop the mind wandering, and it put focus on my breathing and regularity of pace.

I like odd numbers. The measure resolves on a different foot every time the breath changes direction, it’s quite soothing. It makes sense to me to try to equalize both sides. 5 for low intensity & 3 for more involved pace. 7 is quite mechanically beautiful even though it’s too slow to really get any cardio work.
