Sometimes I want to appreciate your answer guys but I even can't show you that I have seen what you wrote. Because it's impossible to reply everyone.

We had one but we removed it because it creates a lot of distraction and group-think. People start fishing for likes and judge every post by how many likes it got. And I end up getting too many likes because it's just unfair for me.

The forum is better without it.

If you really like something enough, you will bother to post it.

ZenSwift liked this decision.

What assumptions, beliefs, or illusions am I under right now?

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...

Likes engender group-think and farming. It makes getting likes the goal as opposed to simple discussion. Big reason why Reddit is such a cesspool. Less is more when it comes to forums.

On Steam you used to be able to award posts clown awards, usually meant as an insult, but doing so also gave the user steam points which they could use to buy decorations for their profile. You where literally rewarded with points for rage baiting. Lgbt copypasta with too many emojis, begging devs to "add more representation" was everywhere for a while. Clearly the bait of choice.
