Does anyone know what they are talking about?

I majored in philosophy in college and it surprises me the hatred of philosophy in some spiritual people.  It's like someone hates what you love, it's really hard to fathom.  I guess every person has their pet-peeve.  What you love dearly, someone else may hate and even deem evil.  I just can't imagine living a life without my experience with philosophy.  I feel like the mind and body do not have a strict duality and both need to be watered so to speak.

We can’t land on having no place to land.

Well who said anything about landing?

The needy self illusion never gets satisfied. If it ever feels satisfied/grounded, its only temporary. Give it some time.......it will always find something else to need.

Thats its entire operating system ♻️ satisfied unsatisfied satisfied unsatisfied satisfied unsatisfied

It's a survival strategy of something that's not actually real 😳

Yes but they are very limited, if reading books was all it took then we would all be Enlightened which is not the case, but to each their own.. We are already Enlightened, that is not the issue, are You conscious of it?.. Are You conscious of even all the actions taking place in your Emotions? If not then being Conscious of Your Enlightenment is not happening..

By the definition of 0 suffering, I am in fact enlightened. You can believe me or not, makes no difference to me mate.

I am not sure how one has a clear understanding of truth and spirituality without some solid philosophy.

I can see how philosophy might feel abstract, disconnected and pull one into mistaking cleverness for wisdom - that whole 'circle without landing' effect. They (spirituality/philosophy) have always gone hand in hand for me - a healthy feedback loop. Philosophy sharpens discernment & direct experience tests philosophy. Each keeps the other honest.

It keeps one in check from just rolling with 'this feels profound!' and pushes us into 'this actually holds up'. Philosophy does all the unglamorous work clarifying terms, coherence. Helping to separate insight from suggestion and can really help ground our experience into something to be examined.

I make no comment on academic philosophy here though :)

I can hear all the spiritual retorts now... 'That is not it!' 'More concepts - throw them away'

Philosophy / spirituality in are in relationship for me in my process. Wake up, clean up !

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

I agree.

Brain is wired for survival purposes only. The brain being the body seeks the path of least resistance, the body cares only for equilibrium and peaceful rest. Not designed for figuring out the reasons why everything exists, or trying to solve what will always remain a mystery, ie the original spark that triggered the whole process into gear.

The knower being equally the known, meaning there’s no known beginning or end to anything. So is unknowable even to itself, meaning, yes, nothing ever happened.

If nobody knows shit, how do You know this?

The problem is not that, its purely a matter of ideology blinding ppl, and ego attachment..no one really reads what others are saying, they just reply instantly to state their case...ego bias for sure...

How do you know you know? How do you know you don’t know?

You know you know, and don’t know, but you don’t know HOW you know and don’t know.

Asking HOW is like asking a living tree ( how are you? )
