Truth is the Authority, not the Authority is Truth!

48 posts in this topic

This is very Important for Spiritual Seekers, Knowers and ppl Interested in such things!

Truth is the Authority, but what is Truth? You are Truth in Your Essential nature, its just hidden from You for many reasons!

There are many way/methods to remove this hidden Truth within You, this is why it is called Enlightenment, Your hidden Truth is Darkness, the processes bring Light to this Darkness and now You can see and Experience this hidden Truth..

Authority is not Truth, basically in this context, no book written, no speaker, no one sharing the Truth is the Truth, they can only inspire, share methods, help You along the way, do not identify with this person, just use them as a tool for Your own Enlightenment, then the Light will shine on You Too!!

Indeed. At the same time being Aware not to make Sadguru or these "online teachers" the spiritual authority of Truth or what truth is.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...

Sadhguru says that in the West we all obey God's absolute truth, while in the East people must seek truth within themselves. This is partly true; the West has been entirely absolutist. The Catholic Church, which is more Augustinian than Christian, establishes the most terrifying system of thought in human history. God, who is love, condemns you to eternal hell by default, because of Adam's sin, and perhaps, if you absolutely obey what the Church says, you can save yourself from being tortured for eternity. This highly effective system was invented by Saint Augustine in the 5th century and copied by Muhammad in the 6th. It completely castrates minds; it is extreme violence.

people like Ramakrishna, rabindranath tagore, would be burned by the Church. But the Augustinian system has a brutal effect on the European psyche. It creates a civilization of fragmented people, enslaved by an impossible system in which you are ordered to love your enemies and be humble when reality demands the exact opposite. Sad, depressed, terrified people.

A Japanese samurai didn't have to love or be pure of heart; he had to obey, period. He did, and that was that. A Christian could never, under any circumstances, be a "good Christian." It would have had to be Jesus Christ, and no one is. The final twist is Protestantism. There, the repression is brutal, and all that repressed energy explodes in a creative and conquering impulse unparalleled in history. Europe is uncomfortable in its own skin and must move forward. Its advance is unstoppable, as we have seen. The price is inherent unhappiness, feel of guilty, dissatisfaction. The result is evolution. Life seeks the best way to move forward. Happiness is not important, evolution is. What works succeeds.

The Guru is the embodiment of the Truth, a Living Example, but we shouldn't worship them mentally, we should use them as that is why they are here.  They provide the guidance, and share the methods and via their Living and Being the Truth they energetically imbibe it so therefore being connected with them is important, Spiritual Transmission is silent and happens between the Guru and the Disciple... We need them for sure, just keep it balanced and real that is all...

Basically believe yourself not others, even sadhguru. Sadhguru is saying dont believe a word I say.

He is saying you are the truth so stop listening to other people.

The womans chompers scare me. I feel anger in her face and body.

You are the unproven Truth.

You are enough, You matter too, Know your worth, and Love yourself today.

Sadhguru as You know is anti belief.. The proof is in the pudding, just look at his activity and what he says, if You vibe with it then try out what he is sharing (methods, kriyas, asanas, temples, buddhi shuddhi, etc) and see for Yourself if change/transformation happens, if so then continue on with his guidance and transmissions, if not then leave, its that simple, its not a matter of belief at all...

Today if one wants to make change or share in the world they have to do it via words first, this sparks the interest because we are so Intellectually Identified, if he just sat in the room and said nothing, most everyone would leave, but what he is sharing is way beyond words and catch phrases or even the books, its all helpful but the real stuff imo is the methods he shares!

That's definitely not what he's saying, otherwise he'd quit talking. Speaking alone, communicates 'believe what I say'

No it doesn't, if that was the case Leo would have to stop too, so would everyone else that is trying to make change in the world..

Its not about belief, he has stated thousands of times not too believe anything he says, rather it is a sharing, its up to You the individual to find interest in what he is sharing or not, no one is forcing anything on anyone.,...

No it's not. That's what cult members say. Cults are where a single leader dictates others for his own good(Sadhguru being a millionaire living like Liberace)

What does stealing people's money and living in a house with a waterfall have to do with "making big changes in the world"?
