The ontological argument, put simply, is that”God must exist because in order for him to not exist, there has to be something of which can be imagined, but because god is the greatest conceivable being, it/he must exist in reality.

Retarded argument . It assumes the conclusion. You should  first prove the existence of "the greatest conceivable being " instead of assuming there is a creature with this definition and then justifying your assumption.

Technically it is correct, but it is only convincing retrospectively, once you have become conscious of God.

The problem is you don't know if your logic corresponds to actual reality. But it turns out it does.
