How to cope with victim mindset?

4 posts in this topic

Hey. I`m not fully victim but I still feel that sometimes I act like victim. I watched all Leo`s vids about it. But maybe is there some practical exercises or more potent information how to overcome victimhood? Thank you!

@SimpleGuy I think, as someone who goes through and deals with victim mindset from time to time….

I think gratitude, recalling past wins and successes, and taking action toward your goals even if it seems like it’s failing, or whatever. Always take a step forward anyway. Really, it’s hard to say because it’s different for everyone.

Sometimes you just are in a shitty state. It will pass.

You know how to take actionn that will free you from this victim mindset. Notice where you are a victim and then ask ‘how do I get free from this’

I think the important part is that you are recognizing and conscious of your "acting like a victim".

I don't think most who act this way realize they are doing so.  Simply by realizing you are doing so and that it is not productive is in itself a hugely positive step.

You have already trained yourself to notice it.  Therefore, in my opinion, it will be much less of a burden on you in life.

You will automatically try to correct yourself because you now notice it happening while it is happening.

Congrats on your positive progress in life!
