The Ugly Truth About Gandhi

7 posts in this topic

Recently, I watched the video below about Mohandas Gandhi`s mistakes and tbh it looked like either some "dark history" that has to be verified a lot or just as a big mistakes like every human has in her life.

I read Gandhi`s autobiography and he told about his mistakes honestly in that book. What do you think?

Every human has a dark history, and it is laughable to believe otherwise.

One time I threatened to kill someone. This was over a decade ago. I went to the mental hospital soon after.

How nasty humans really are under the hood? You probably don't want to know...

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance of separative... unity...

People hate on Gandhi, Mandela, Mother Theresa etc because in our rabid, cynical, hyper-consumerist age, the idea of actual human benevolence feels threatening to us, so we go to great lengths to convince ourselves good people are actually bad people.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they didn’t do bad things, like someone else said all humans have a dark side. But the sheer amount of truth, goodness, love, compassion, altruism, kindness, healing, growth etc these figures brought to the world outweighs whatever racist thoughts or slightly perverted things they may have done.

Gandhi alone saved MILLIONS of lives through avoiding a bloody insurrection against the British, as well as legitimised non-violence, reconciliation and humanist compassion as a legitimate force on the political world that still influences decision-making to this day. The man was a fucking saint, lmao.

Hmm oh yes ...the consumerism and its temple of unrestrained greed as new creed, egoism as new sainthood, oh how low petty humans have fallen to a sight of any ideals to look up to...

...then cynism as coping mechanism to any goodness that in contrast would put them at discomfort of concience ...

...that bastard imp of inner judgment...

@SimpleGuy thats how going beyond the matrix really looks like, the redpill is just an appetizer. HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!
