Christian Mysticism Thread

Hello Everyone. I created this thread to discuss Christian mysticism with people who are interested with this tradition of mysticism. To share ideas, knowledge, insights, techniques and mostly importantly wisdom. I have read a few books on Christian mysticism and I read the Bible as much as I can. Thanks Everyone.

Cool. Whats your favorite Bible verse for the time being ?

I have seen both Paradise and Hell. Open for questions. I was also pulled out of my body once and an angel spoke in angelic tounge to me wich was pretty wild. 

I like to trip on psychedelics and contemplate life. I try to question everything and end up finding the answer to my questions in the Bible. 

Here's some cool videos about someone who got a tour of Paradise. Its beautiful there. 

 

 

2 Corinthians 12 2 - 4

2 I know a man in Christ about fourteen years ago (whether he was in the body I cannot tell, or whether he was out of the body I cannot tell, God knows) who was taken up into the third heaven. 3 And I know the same man (whether in the body or out of the body I cannot tell, God knows), 4 how he was taken up into Paradise and heard words not to be spoken, which no man can utter.

A course in miracles is a good book. He who made it is a true Saint.

My favourite verse is Psalm 46:10 - Be still and know that I am God. These videos are very interesting. I have heard of A Course In Miracles, I havent read it yet.

A good number of people come to A Course in Miracles through introduction by their psychotherapists. In large part due to their having a tenacious grip on some trauma they have endured and are unable to let go of their victimhood. 
What is the eventual fix needed here? Dis-identification or the ability to let go. In another word, forgiveness. 
ACIM is a work that came to fruition through a woman who channeled the historical Jesus Christ over a five year period in the late 1960’s. She was a secular Jewish psychotherapist named Helen Schucman. The text reads very much like the New Testament but with modern terms like ‘ego’ mixed into it.

This paraphrasing of the Bible is absolutely hilarious. God Is Disappointed In You came out about 10- 15 years ago. Its genius quality is in its ability to dissolve false seriousness that seems to be a plague on Christians   throughout the ages.
